**Warehouse Supervisor**

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse/yard and managing a team of yard associates.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all labor workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Determine low stock levels and bring inventory from storage to fill bins. Communicate with purchasing on low stock or slow moving skus.
- Assign personnel to tidy barns, put away stock, assist delivery drivers, and rearrange deliveries as needed.
- Lead by example with forklift operation. Coach newer operators on proper/safe practices.
- Ensure yard associates are working safely IE**: driving forklifts safely,** wearing proper safety clothing, using safety cones etc.
- Develop and implement training procedures and checklists for all new yard associates to achieve consistent training from day one. Follow up on progression and review what areas may require further training.
- Record changes on whiteboard to ensure all team members are informed of updated tasks and schedules.
- Arrange waste and recycling pick-up services as required.
- Ensure snow and ice removal is completed and parking lot is sanded/salted as needed.
- Responsible for maintenance on all saws and warehouse equipment. Completing monthly safety checks prior to staff meetings.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisor role in a similar industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Forklift experience would be an asset.

Reports to: General Manager

Status: Full Time

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
