Asbestos Analyst

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation and analysis of bulk and solid materials for asbestos content using PLM (Polarized Light Microscopy), PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy), and all ancillary quality control procedures.
- Determination of visual percentage and optical properties of asbestos and non-asbestos material.
- Record data in a specified manner.
- Perform quality control practices per company Quality Assurance/Quality Control manual.

**Requirements**:

- Must have previous asbestos analysis experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have good computer skills and experience with excel
- Must be able to proof read their own work effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $18.12-$51.98 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
