**Maintenance Technician**

Located in Iroquois, ON, Craig Packaging is one of Chicago-based Republic Packaging Corp.'s eight North American operating locations. As a 60 year-old provider of cushion packaging Republic Packaging is known for outstanding design, quality and customer service Craig, which specializes in corrugated packaging, shares the same tremendous design, quality and service capabilities as our parent. In addition, we have a sister company, Impacte, which provides warehouse management services that can complement our packaging products or be a stand-alone service to provide solutions to our customers' problems.

With our eye toward growth, we are actively working to grow our sales by 50% over the next 3 years and enter new markets with innovative packaging and service offerings. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Role responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and the facility.
- Define, update and administer preventative maintenance programs.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee contractors and manufacturers when specialized repairs are needed.
- Diagnose and correct mechanical issues or direct those to a specialized service.
- Repair machines, equipment and infrastructure as needed.

What you bring:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of proven maintenance experience.
- Skilled in utilizing hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Keen understanding of and ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and manuals.
- Experience with machine disassembly, reassembly and part replacement.
- Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
- Experience in administering routine and preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work and excel with little or no supervision.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
