We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures and fixtures on the farm. From framing buildings to doing repairs in the employee housing.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Construction Projects**: Execute carpentry tasks related to construction projects, including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
- **Repair and Maintenance**: Perform repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans to determine project requirements and specifications.
- **Material Selection**: Select appropriate lumber and materials for each project, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, and planers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience working as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction projects.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in a wide range of carpentry techniques, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and furniture making.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of construction principles, building codes, and best practices related to carpentry.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and precision to ensure accurate measurements and quality craftsmanship.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions to challenges that may arise during construction or repair projects. Be able to work independently.
- **Physical Stamina**: Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentry are preferred but not required.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
