Financial Planning Administrator

Assante Vancouver Centre branch is a premier wealth management firm with our office in downtown Vancouver. With over 30 years in the industry, our branch offers our clients personalized and comprehensive planning experience.
One of our highly successful and professional practice teams are hiring. They are looking to bring on a Financial Planning Administrator (MFDA-CIRO) to provide support for their Financial Planners in servicing their clients, supporting their workload, and contributing to the overall success of the team. This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual who wants to take their proven administrative experience and top-level client servicing to new levels working with a team who continuously achieves excellence in their field. In addition, this large group has created a working environment that cultures a spirit of comradery, encouragement and cheerfulness.
This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation and benefits package. The job opening is immediate.
**Key Duties and Accountabilities**:
- Coordinate client investment transactions, including processing trades, account opening, compliance documents, and follow-ups;
- Assist with coordinating insurance administration and follow-ups;
- Assist team in their performance of their duties and provide customer service in all related manners;
- Maintain client files (paper and electronic) and assist in preparation for client meetings and post-meeting follow-up;
- Manage incoming and outgoing client correspondence, both written and verbal.
**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:
- Mutual Fund experience preferred;
- Working knowledge of computer software and programs used in the financial industry, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive) and SalesForce CRM;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Work experience in the financial services industry preferred;
- Organizational and administrative skills required to perform activities with varying degrees of priority;
- Attention to detail and accuracy with handling figures a must;
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment;
- Initiative;
- A positive, upbeat attitude.
**Complexities and Challenges**:
- Ensuring accuracy in all client service activities;
- Responding to client inquiries;
- Responding to multiple information requests from advisors and clients;
- Responding to changing priorities and work environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
