About The Role

Our client is seeking to hire a Full-time permanent nanny to care for their newborn. The role will be Monday to Friday (8am -5pm/9am - 6pm). This individual will be responsible for changing diapers, feeding and monitoring naps.

Location: Thornhill, L3T 5P4
Child: 1 child (newborn)
Role Type: Full-time Permanent
Schedule: Mon to Fri.
Start Date: September 5, 2023
Requirements: Driver's license and vehicle, fully vaccinated, comfortable wearing a mask, newborn experience

About The Family

Both parents work from home most of the time and are happy to answer any questions the nanny might have. They are friendly people who are easy to speak with. The family takes strong COVID-precautions and is looking for a nanny who is willing to accommodate this.

The Perfect Nanny

The perfect nanny is attentive, caring, great with newborns and COVID-conscious. They should have experience working with newborns, ideally in a previous nanny role but other newborn experience will be considered as well. Ideally the nanny has some education in child development. They should feel comfortable working independently. The family has a pool in the backyard, so it's a bonus if the nanny is comfortable swimming.

The nanny should be fully vaccinated from COVID (with up to date boosters) and comfortable getting the annual flu shot. They should be comfortable wearing a mask indoors throughout their shift.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide complete care for the newborn baby in the employers home and perform all tasks related to the care of the child. Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the child can thrive and develop.

Take care of baby and ensure his well-being

Plan activities to engage the child and foster his growth

Perform household-related tasks related to the child, including light tidying and laundry
