We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ventilation Inspector to join our team. As a Ventilation Inspector, you will be responsible for visiting residential properties and assessing their ventilation systems. Your primary focus will be to understand the unique ventilation needs of each client and provide recommendations for improving indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and overall comfort.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct on-site inspections of residential properties to evaluate ventilation systems, including HVAC systems, ductwork, exhaust fans, and other components.

2. Assess the adequacy of existing ventilation systems and identify areas for improvement based on industry standards and best practices.

3. Communicate effectively with homeowners to understand their concerns and preferences regarding indoor air quality, ventilation performance, and energy efficiency.

4. Provide expert advice and recommendations for ventilation system upgrades, repairs, or replacements, taking into account factors such as building size, layout, and occupancy.

5. Collaborate with contractors, HVAC technicians, and other professionals to develop comprehensive ventilation solutions tailored to each client's needs and budget.

6. Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and cost estimates for proposed ventilation projects.

7. Stay informed about advancements in ventilation technology, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize system performance.

8. Maintain accurate records of inspection data, client communications, and project specifications for reference and future analysis.

**Qualifications**:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC inspection, duct design, or related field.

2. In-depth knowledge of residential ventilation systems, including principles of airflow, ductwork design, and equipment sizing.

3. Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose ventilation issues and develop effective solutions.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners and contractors.

6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in inspection reports and documentation.

7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

8. HVAC certification or relevant professional credentials preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
