Bayswater Education was established in 2017 by a team of experienced professionals in the international education industry. The business is for profit with a social mission at its core. The commitment to operate on a one for one basis is enshrined in our business.

For every week of tuition that a student studies with us, we will give a week of education to underprivileged people from where our students are recruited. We set out to create a global network of Colleges, focusing initially on teaching English and French to International students.

We want to inspire and educate the next generation. Bayswater Education currently comprises the following divisions:

- High Quality Language Courses in 10 year-round locations across 4 countries - UK, France, Canada, South Africa & Cyprus
- Career-focused Short Courses for Generation Z in London, Paris, Toronto and Online. Study Digital Marketing or Fashion.
- Foreign languages department Eurocentres UK Languages eurocentres.co.uk - offering currently French and Spanish classes in the evening to local people in the UK. Now operating in Liverpool and London.
- IELTS examination centre in the UK

Position Summary, key duties and responsibilities

The Education Advisor role has core responsibility for:

- dealing with walk-in enquiries and selling our courses & programmes to them.
- answering (mainly by phone) prospective student enquiries received through our web site or any other marketing campaign: social media, Google Ads, other directories, etc.
- updating the company CRM with all prospective student details, follow up information, sales, tasks, etc.
- helping in all marketing strategies to promote Bayswater College in Calgary: Collaboration with other business, sponsorships, local fairs, etc.
- being aware about the competitors in the Calgary area. Prepare an annual report about the competitors in the area with price comparation, promotions, etc.
- Helping in the marketing strategy in the LATAM market to promote the brand.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our students consistently.
- Keeping a good relationship with current students to manage their course extensions.
- following the agreed internal processes and procedures and resolving issues quickly and efficiently

The Education Advisor will require excellent communication and inter-personal skills in face to face and by phone; projecting a courteous and professional manner at all times when representing the college.

Knowledge, qualifications and experience
- Overseas studying/working experience, ideally with exposure to an international environment for 3-6 months (mandatory)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English (mandatory)
- Fluency in Spanish. (mandatory)
- A third language: Brazilian, Japanese, Korean, German, French, etc(desirable)
- An undergraduate degree focus on business, marketing, sales, language or tourism (desirable)
- Experience of working with international clients (desirable)
- Sales experience. Education industry or services (desirable).
- Customer service experience (desirable).

Job Title: Sales and Promotion Coordinator

Department: Sales and Marketing

Reports to: Direct Sales Manager

Location: Calgary

Contract Type: Full-Time 40 hours per week

Holiday: 10 days per annum plus Canadian Public Holidays (pro rata)

**Salary**: $31,500 (Full-Time) annual + Bonus

Bonus: Average Bonus $400 - $1,500 per month depending on sales
