Lube Technician

Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.), is currently Seeking a full time employee position for our **Stoney Creek location** for the following challenging opportunity:
**Lube Technician /Rental Ready Person Evening Shift**

**This is a construction equipment based position that involves**:
**Cleaning various pieces of fleet Equipment**

**Pre-delivery inspections,**

**Organizing the equipment maintenance area of the facility,**

**General building maintenance,**
- Customer service, loading and unloading tools
- Maintaining and servicing rental equipment, making minor repairs on equipment plus performing preventative maintenance, oil / filter changes.
- Quality control involving detailed inspection for defects on rental units.
- The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude both within the branch and in face-to-face experiences with customers;
- Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
- A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills;
- Good communication and people skills;
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting.

**The desire to work effectively within a team environment.**

**Technical aptitude and organization skills are required. This is an excellent entry-level position for an individual looking to gain experience in a mechanic shop.**
