**FORESTRY FIELD MANAGER**

**LOOKING TO HIRE FOR SPRING 2023**

Location: Corner Brook, NL and/or Grand Falls-Windsor, NL

**What the Job Entails**:

- Completing high quality forestry services that include, but are not limited to filed navigation and measurements, collecting digital data for operational forestry purposes, timber cruising, block and road layout, buffer zone establishment, silviculture surveys and stream assessments
- Completing fieldwork in various regions of NL and other parts of Canada
- Working in a variety of weather conditions, often in remote areas
- Understanding and abiding by current forest regulations, company standards and best practices

**What We're Looking For**:

- College diploma or university degree from a recognized resource management program
- Field experience in the forest sector in Canada
- Experience with GIS software, digital data collection methods, GPS navigation, and field measurement tools Excellent organization and analytical skills
- Great people skills and solid written communication skills
- An interest in continuous learning
- Valid driver's license
- Safety training related to operation of ATV's, watercraft and chainsaws
- Wilderness and remote first aid and/or OHS committee training is an asset
