Our Company has open positions for a Working Construction Foreman on municipal and commercial projects ranging from $50k to $3m+ and differ greatly in scope and features. Salary is based on knowledge/ experience.

**Foreman Role**:
On your site, you will oversee a crew of skilled labourers and subtrades, order materials, coordinate drivers and liaise with consultants/clients all while actively participating in the running of your site. You must be able to take a job site from start to finish. You must have the ability to read, interpret & implement construction drawings, structural drawings, & specifications in order to delegate/complete work activities. You must be able to transfer grades from known benchmarks. Evaluate cut & fill for soil removals off site, calculate & order materials.

You will operate various tools and equipment, including: skid steers excavators, rollers, plate tampers, laser levels.

Different skilled trades crews from Pine Valley may support you on various features of the projects (E.g., concrete, masonry, site servicing, etc.). We expect the Working Foreman to have Heavy Equipment Operator (machine operator) certification and experience and lead by example. You should have Basics of Supervision / Due Diligence and be familiar with the "Green Book".

Following Health & Safety COR requirements is mandatory.

**Suitable Background**:

- Civil earthworks, parkland construction.
- Experience supervising a crew of 3 or more.
- Familiarity with building codes
- Great Health & Safety awareness (COR)
- Familiarity of daily inspections and completion of required paperwork (COR)
- Industry Certification an asset
- High attention to detail in technical specifications and written communication.
- Highly structured in organization and time management, demonstrating initiative.
- Self-starter.
- Performance driven.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written in English).
- Desire to interact with clients and team in professional, patient and courteous manner.
- Excellent knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment and techniques required to complete required tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

**Salary**: Up to $44.00 per hour
