Lunch Monitor Autism

Giant Steps School, a private special education school in Notre-Dame de Grâce for students with autism ages 4 to 21, is seeking reliable lunch monitors to assist class staff in the supervision of the students during the lunch hour (both indoors and outdoors), to help with clean up and storage of material used, etc.

**ENGLISH CLASS - AGES BETWEEN 10-15 years old.**

**Part time: 10 hours per week - Monday to Friday 12 to 2pm**

**Salary: 18.91$ /hour**

**Depending on their level of autonomy, **task related are**:

- watch for kids at all time
- Cook their meal;
- Help them go to the bathroom;
- Dress them to go outside;
- Help to clean them or wash their hands;
- Clean the class;
- Go outside for the recess (30 minutes);
- Play, do activities with them ;
**Permanent position / Part-time **:10 hours / week. Possibility of additional hours during the day (replacements).

**Schedule**: 12 pm to 2 pm

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in either English or French;
**Assets**:

- Fluently bilingual;
- Experience with youth, particularly those with special needs;
