
Experienced Appliance Repair/service Technician

**Overview**
Working with FastRepairPro and reporting directly to the Admin, an Appliance Service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing domestic and commercial appliances as per scheduled orders and within the company’s mandate. This mainly includes servicing and repairing of products by different brands with the highest performance and thriving to satisfy the reasonable and practical expectations of a customer and quality standards of the FastRepairPro.
**Duties**
- Monitor incoming flow of orders in an online system and its daily/weekly/monthly schedule of workload assignments
- Diagnose issues with appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
- Diagnose faults by checking controls, condensers, timer sequences, fans and other components using test equipment such as meters and gauges to measure resistance, current, voltage, pressure, temperature.
- Perform repairs on a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers.
- Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs or maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in appliance repair field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license will be required for travel to job sites.

- Ability to travel (own transportation)
- Ability to use online systems and document work using any electronic portable device such as mobile phone/iPad to report, make photos for evidence, etc
