We are a Family Owned Custom Woodworking Shop in Mississauga Since 1998. Looking to hire a permanent full-time member to our team. We need an ambitious Millwork Estimator/Project Coordinator to help manage and control our projects and coordinate with Production and Sites.

We specialize in Commercial, Retail, and Institutional Woodworking such as Cabinets, Reception Desks, Wall/Ceiling Paneling, and Display Units.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and refer projects that are suitable and fit company targets and objectives
- Solicits subcontractor and/or supplier information & pricing
- Reviews project plans and specifications and coordinates with the team to confirm complete scope.
- Reviews general conditions, schedule, scopes of work, site logistics etc.
- Reviews and recommends optimum production methods with plant personnel
- Reviews material requirements with Purchasing department
- Maintains and communicates data on labour and material cost trends affecting project costs.
- Participates in periodic reviews and visits to projects sites as appropriate
- Create and execute task work plans as directed by PM, revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and always work in order of priority
- Work under direction of PMs
- Attend meetings pertaining to the project as requested
- Create shipping lists
- Coordinate with Detailing/Drafting Dept, Shop staff and Logistics
- Communicate effectively to identify needs and evaluate task durations
- Coordinate with the Plant Manager and Shop
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Education or Experience in Architectural Woodworking (Millwork)

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Valid Driver's License and Own Transportation
- Well versed in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to Read and Interpret Drawings/Blueprints
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD Suite
- Excellent English Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work independently

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
