Heater Technician

Our Cambridge branch is a busy, team-oriented region within Battlefield Equipment that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. As a company that deals constantly in the shifting of large construction equipment, our technician positions are vital to our success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the testing, repair, and rental ready of our large indirect air heat and hydronic heat fleet;
- Contact with the heater coordinator to ensure that orders are filled properly;
- Perform other duties as assigned;
**Key Qualifications**:

- Experience in both repair and parts requirements for all types of construction heaters, with the ability to repair and troubleshoot electrical A/C, and DC circuits.
- Prior experience in a troubleshooting and repair facility or environment, as well as on site set up experience is preferred.
- Excellent time management and organization and the ability to work and make decisions independently.
- The flexibility to adapt to emergency and overtime arrangements
- Participate in safe workplace safety and environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times, in support of Battlefield’s health and safety policy programs and initiatives
- Sharp attention to detail and effective paperwork organization.
- Licensed in over 400,000BTU and Oil Fired Construction Heaters.
- Preference given to G2/OTB2 or above gas certification, but not required.
- Experience with Hydronic Heaters of varying BTU's and size, as well as Large BTU Indirect fired heaters.
- Heavy Lifting may be required (+50lbs)
- Need to supply your own hand tools (diagnostics are supplied)
