Class 3 Driver

Fred M. Dunphy Excavating & Construction Ltd. has been providing construction services across the HRM for over 50 years.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform pre-trip inspection and fill out logbook
- Safely and efficiently operate a dump truck (manual transmission) to transport materials within HRM.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its safe operation
- Notify mechanic of any issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies while operating the vehicle

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License
- Clean Driver's abstract
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Basic automotive repair skills to handle minor repairs or maintenance issues on the truck

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
