Pavement Line Painter

All Ontario Striping is a parking lot/warehouse/sports facilities line painting/pavement marking company. We service GTA mainly, but we do not limit ourselves to this area and often travel around it. We are known in the industry for being a reliable contractor, for delivering excellent quality service, and for completing all our projects promptly. We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in line painting operations. Minimum three, optimum five years of relevant experience required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate walk-behind and self-propelled paint machines, like GRACO Line Lazer or Titan.
- Operate thermoplastic, cold plastic, and other specialized movement marking equipment.
- Make the Layout and remarking roadways and parking lots.
- Help clean and prepare work sites.
- Load and unload materials or equipment into work vehicles.
- Assist in the setup and take down of traffic control as per Ontario Book 7, including the assistance with the placement, movement, and dismantling of road signs, traffic barrels or cones, and flagging operations.
- Maintain and cleaned equipment, conducting routine maintenance or minor repairs as required.
- Perform housekeeping duties within the shop and yard.
- Work safely and conform to all health and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as needed and as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical inclination to understand, maintain and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work in all types of weather and temperatures.
- Willingness to work assigned night or day shifts, with the flexibility to work long shifts.
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 kg.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment, have a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude. As we work both nights and days with no set timetable, due to the constraints of the different locations, weather, and workload, we need employees who are comfortable with changing plans and schedules, and able to work at short notice on occasion.
