**Markville Ford Lincoln, **a division of The Riley Automotive Group is hiring a **Service Manager. **This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team with excellent earning potential.

Our Flagship brand new state of the art facility is scheduled to be opened in June 2023, situated in the heart of Markham with the intersection of Kennedy Rd. and Hwy 7. We are one of the Top Volume Ford Lincoln dealerships in Canada.

**Responsibilities of a Service Manager**:

- Attending safety meetings to ensure the service team abides by safety policies and procedures
- Mentoring the service staff by promoting an environment where they can grow and excel in their craft
- Performing administrative duties such as communicating with vendors, greeting customers or answering phone calls to schedule service appointments
- Managing a team of Service Technicians and Advisors
- Developing a working knowledge of industry laws and regulations to ensure their service department is in compliance
- Maintaining customer relationships to ensure repeat customers by handling customer concerns in a timely manner
- Manage the day to day service workflow
- Direct and schedule activities of all team members
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Establish processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
- Actively manage and improve all measured performance indicators including gross sales, profitability, loyalty, CSI etc.
- Forecast and set goals and objectives for the service department
- Daily repair order analysis, reconciling all open and closed R/Os
- Collaborate and other department mangers to effect efficient operations
- Supervise and keep record of shop equipment
- Other duties as required

- Customer service skills to resolve complaints efficiently and encourage repeat customers
- Teamwork skills to encourage the collaborative performance of the service team
- Verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and the service team
- Must be comfortable being on the service floor and on your feet for six to seven hours per day while monitoring service Associate's
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a strong leader, overseeing an entire department of at least five employee
- Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions, and face-to-face customer service interactions
- Demonstrated ability and proven track record of effective marketing campaigns and employee management
- Must be a CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) leader and ensure customers are please with the level of service expected.
