**What you'll do**:
Often time, those in the background are one of the most essential associates in an operation. As a Receiver, you will be a very important one Housekeeping may not have enough linen, the Kitchen would run out of food, the restaurant wouldn’t be able to open and the list goes on, on the vital responsibilities our Receiver holds. Some of the responsibilities include ensuring all incoming hotel orders are signed off on, are accurate, are delivered to the appropriate department in a timely manner and assisting in inventory management. This role is a unique mix of mental and physical abilities ensuring there is never a dull moment. Are you up for the challenge?

**The responsibilities of this position include**:

- To receive incoming hotel orders, check for accuracy, sign-off on orders, and remove goods from receiving area immediately.
- To greet incoming delivery persons.
- Report any discrepancies in invoices/deliveries to the appropriate department.
- To operate equipment, including electric pallet, safely and in accordance with policy.
- To deliver and store incoming inventory/supplies, using FIFO system of inventory control, and rotate stock where required.
- To date and label food product when delivered.
- To assemble beverage requisitions for outlets and events.
- To maintain cleanliness of all storage rooms.
- Post all food and beverage invoices into Adaco.
- To run a weekly food cost report.
- To maintain and strengthen the system of internal controls for the storage and issuance of beverage.
- To assist with monthly food and beverage inventory.
- To audit bar stocks and beverage storeroom perpetual inventory on a monthly basis.
- Place all orders for soft drinks, coffee, cleaning supplies and paper goods based on par stocks.
- Advise the Restaurant Manager on beverage inventory control issues.
- All other tasks as assigned by management.

- Minimum of one year current work-related experience.
- Prior experience in hotel/hospitality receiving preferred.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Able to work a variety of shifts/days
- High school graduation preferred.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $21.11-$26.39 per hour
