An exciting opportunity exists for an individual with excellent administrative skills to work in a dynamic customer service environment. This position reports to the Manager, Claims Contact Centre (CCC) & Support Services and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager and their leadership team.

Your responsibilities:

- Provides administrative support to the Manager, Claims Contact Centre & Support Services.
- Manage and maintain the Manager’s calendar with meetings and appointments.
- Coordinates all aspects of regular and ad hoc meetings, such as agendas, travel (if needed), meeting information, meeting minutes, follow-up on action items, and updating Manager’s workplan.
- Action general inquiries through multiple channels to the appropriate area(s) acting as an information resource for internal and external clients.
- Coordinates detailed internal and external staffing moves.
- Completes and reconciles monthly budget reporting information for the Manager.
- Assists in management of unit P-cards.
- Provides coaching and mentorship to unit Administrative Assistants.
- Maintains unit monthly reporting for various performance metrics.
- Maintains staff attendance and scheduling for Manager and leadership team.
- Participates in projects and committees as required.

Your experience and skills:

- Post-secondary education in business or office administration or high school diploma supplemented with business administration courses.
- Several years of related administrative experience in a fast
- paced work environment.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proof-reading and editing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Positive attitude, team player with a strong customer service focus.
- Reliable and willing to take initiative and work independently.

**Salary**: Grade 6 $48,792 to $54,228 per annum

This is a temporary, full-time position for approximately one year with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
