Wilsons Mechanical is looking for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Helper or 1st Year Apprentice to work in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area. If you went to school for HVAC or you are indentured in the HVAC/R trade and you're looking for an exciting career with work-life balance, we want to hear from you.

This position is responsible for working on residential and commercial HVAC systems, including helping to install, maintain, and troubleshoot. The types of systems include heat pumps, ventilation systems, self-contained rooftop units, de/humidification systems, and air circulation systems. The Apprentice works closely with the team to provide excellent customer service.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:

- Strong interpersonal skills, including a focus on the customer's experience
- The ability to work well with the team as well as autonomously
- A willingness to always put safety first

**Requirements**:

- Eligible to work as a 1st, year Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice in Nova Scotia or attended NSCC for HVAC schooling.

The nature of this role may be physically demanding and require manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

**Compensation**:
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
