Golf Course Turf Care

Otter Creek is seeking **ENERGETIC** individuals to become part of our **TEAM** for the 2023 season.

**Otter Creek Golf Club** is located in the rural farm community of Otterville, Ontario, a short 20 minute drive from Woodstock. Designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect Dick Kirkpatrick, Otter Creek opened its doors to the public on July 1, 2008. Encompassing 300 acres and carved through the wooded valleys of Otter, Cedar and Spittler Creeks, the golf course meanders cleverly over former farmer's fields and tobacco lands.

**Otter Creek Golf Club** was host to the 2018 Ontario Acura Future Links Championship for junior golfers and the **2020 Ontario Amateur Championship**.

We are looking for hard working, dedicated, energetic individuals with a keen eye for detail. If you love the outdoors and the game of golf, Otter Creek has a spot for you.

Our positions include Full-time seasonal, Part-time seasonal and University/College Student Summer opportunities. Golf is a seven day a week business and as such all positions will include working outdoors in all weather and will include early morning and weekend work dependent on the season.

These positions are available beginning April 2023.

**TYPICAL FUNCTIONS**

Employees will perform all the routine maintenance duties and cultural practices associated with the golf course including but not limited to irrigation, construction, golf course preparation and daily set-up. Employees will work under direct supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent and will be given every chance to learn all aspects of golf course maintenance in a fast paced, demanding environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Golf Course experience preferred but not necessary
- A love for the outdoors
- Reliable transportation to and from work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 44 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
