Delivery Driver Helper

Morton Food Service, _a division of Morton Wholesale Ltd_. is currently seeking professional food service delivery driver helpers for our Woodstock facility. Driver Helpers are required to ride with and assist our drivers delivering orders to our customers following assigned routes in a timely and professional manner.

This position would be well suited for either students looking for a part time position during the summer or an individual interested in working towards obtaining their DZ License.

- Driver Helpers are required to follow all safety protocols, laws, policies and procedures as set up by Morton Food Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Interact with customers in a courteous and respectful manner
- Ensure the safe, accurate and timely delivery of customer orders
- Confirm accuracy of order following proper scanning procedures
- Need to be detailed orientated to make sure every order is delivered to maximize efficiency
- Review and keep up to date on all requirements per the Driver Handbook as it applies to position
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Customer Service oriented
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capable of lifting 5 to 50lbs repeatedly
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision
- Able to think on their feet
- Able to work longer hours at times until the deliveries are completed
- Willingness to potentially work towards DZ License would be an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
