Overview
Established in 1836 in Quebec, Canada, Bishop’s College School
(BCS) is an IB World School offering the International

The Position
Reporting to the Manager of Properties and Material Resources, the worker will perform various
tasks such as drywall jointing, painting, dormitory preparation, and other maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Drywall joints in preparation for painting
- Painting, staining, and touch-ups throughout the campus
- Perform minor repairs to furniture and equipment
- Perform other tasks that do not require specialized skills, such as repairing and unblocking
- ducts, toilets, and sinks using manual tools
- Ensure that student rooms are furnished and maintained
- Preform caulking maintenance, where required, on windows and doors throughout the
- campus
- Maintain the cleanliness of the outside of the buildings, including doors, windows, and
- entranceways
- Ensure all roof drains and gutters are always clear and free
- Flag necessary repairs to the Manager of Facilities
- Perform tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, snow removal, and spreading of de-icing
- material when the grounds crew needs assistance
- Assist specialists in the execution of their work when required
- Participate in the inventory of furnishings and materials required for dormitories
- Assist other departments in the preparation of the school’s special events
- Other tasks as assigned by the department manager

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- High school leaving diploma
- 2 years of similar experience
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Working knowledge of English and French
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to plan and organize work to meet changing priorities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn other relevant software
- Highly motivated, flexible, positive, and collaborative approach
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job

Le poste:
Le travailleur devra se rapporter au Gérant des propriétés et compléter différentes tâches telles
que le tirage de joints, la peinture, la préparation les dortoirs et toutes autres tâches
d’entretien.

Responsabilités:

- Peinturer, teindre et faire des retouches sur l’ensemble du campus.
- Effectuer des réparations mineures sur les meubles et l’équipement.
- Effectuer d’autres tâches qui ne requièrent aucune compétence spéciale, telles que

réparer et déboucher de la tuyauterie, des toilettes et des éviers en utilisant des
outils manuels.
