We are dedicated to improving the life experiences of families, children, youth and adults with mental health concerns or a developmental disability, by providing them with help and support in facing and working through social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and developmental difficulties.
Our professional team helps more than 11,000 individuals in North Bay, Nipissing, Muskoka, Parry Sound, Timmins, and Northern Ontario each year. We provide quality clinical, navigation and professional support in the areas of autism, behavioural, developmental, mental health, and rehabilitative services.

The Supervised Access Program supports families in conflict by providing a safe, child-oriented, and neutral environment where the non-residential parent(s) and/or individual(s) with designated parenting time can build a relationship with children through visitations and/or exchanges, ensuring factual, written documentation is maintained for reporting through the judicial system. The Supervised Access Facilitator will monitor and document interactions between individuals with parenting time and children in a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment, in accordance with provincial guidelines and judicial requirements.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- One (1) year diploma in Personal Support Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Social Service Worker or Mental Health and Addictions Worker preferred.
- Related work experience is an asset
- Knowledge and experience in family conflict, family dynamics, and custody/access issues is preferred
- Excellent writing skills and ability to write observation notes
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of relevant resources and funding available to clients and their families
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information and situations
- Successful applicants will be required to provide:

- A valid Ontario driver’s license and use of a reliable motor vehicle; insurability on Agency vehicle insurance policy

**RÉSUMÉ DES FONCTIONS**:
Le programme de visites supervisées vient en aide aux familles en conflit en offrant un environnement sûr, neutre et axé sur l’enfant, où le(s) parent(s) non résidentiel(s) et/ou la(les) personne(s) disposant d’un droit de visite peut(vent) établir une relation avec les enfants par le biais de visites et/ou d’échanges, en veillant à ce que des documents factuels et écrits soient conservés en vue d’un signalement dans le système judiciaire. Le facilitateur de visites supervisées observe et documente les interactions entre les personnes disposant d’un droit de visite et les enfants dans un environnement sûr, neutre et axé sur l’enfant, conformément aux lignes directrices provinciales et aux exigences du système judiciaire.
