Housekeeping Supervisor

Bowmanville, Canada Best Western Plus Full time

We are looking for a person with high standards and integrity for the Housekeeping Supervisory role for summer season:
**Main duties**:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of the housekeeping staff.
- Verify room status.
- Conduct quality inspections of housekeeping and laundry services.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services as required.
- Inspect the hotel facilities to ensure Best Western Plus Bowmanville safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of rooms and cleaning and linen supplies.
- Prioritize cleaning tasks.
- Help room attendants cleaning rooms during busy days.
- Report any maintenance issue and provide written reports of incidents.
- Prompt reporting lost and found articles.
- Other ad hoc related responsibilities are required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Room Attendant.
- Previous experience in a particular area of cleaning.
- Previous supervisory experience could be an asset.
- Weekend and holidays availability.
- Stand, kneel, or walk for an extended period.
- Light and heavy lifting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
