As a recovery analyst, you help develop and implement strategies to manage, monitor, analyzes files of medium to high complexity which assigned to maximize recovery/subrogation and minimize expense.

You analyze and help diagnose issues, provide opinions in accordance with your discipline’s rules, and help develop recommendations and implementation plans. You develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills, extensive knowledge of your line of business and ability to manage complexity. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields.

You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, operations, clients and partners.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities- Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support management decision-making recovery control processes. Make recommendations- Analyze the admissibility of claims that are transferred to the recovery team and guide the claims advisor on the additional steps to be taken before acceptance- Accompany claims advisors s as soon as the claim occurs. Ensure the potential for recovery in files, guide the claims advisor on the procedures to be carried out and the expertise to be carried out with regard to the recovery aspect and preserve the possibilities of appeal- Support and advise claims adjusters, technical advisers and answer all questions relating to Collection transmitted by the technical advisers with whom it will be paired- Act as a resource person for team members and stakeholders- Analyze risks and write reports. Prepare recommendations and provide advice on how to implement them- Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters- Develop and write methods and processes- Participate in the processing of files related to catastrophic events, series files as well as city files and municipalities.

Other working conditions- Work place: Position located in Aurora or Mississauga, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid- Number of jobs available : 1

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
