Edmonton, Canada Alberco Construction Ltd. Full time

Alberco Construction requires a project coordinator for our 50th Street CP Rail overpass project just north of Sherwood Park Freeway. This will be a 8 month (approximate) Contract position. This project will require on-site coordination of the activities working closely with the Project Manager.

Looking for an experienced person with a civil engineering tech or equivalent education and background.

MUST HAVE CONSTRUCION INDUSTRY PROJECT CORDINATOR EXPERIENCE.

MUST HAVE SOME SURVEY EXPERIENCE WITH TOTAL STATION OR SIMILAR.

Work Responsibilities
- Survey and use of Total Station & GPS Total Station
- Review and prepare submissions of shop drawings and product information
- Use of Autocad or similar software to layout survey information
- Procurement of Materials required for Construction
- Scheduling and coordination of subtrades
- Valid Driver’s License and Transportation

**Qualifications**:
The following qualifications are required:

- Engineering In Training, Certified Engineering Technologist or Similar
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
- Basic skills in using AutoCAD
- Basic knowledge of Surveying
- Strong Verbal and Written English Communication

The following will be considered an asset:

- Previous experience with Surveying
- Previous experience with Concrete (testing, project experience etc)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Project
- Previous General Contractor Experience

Compensation: Rate of Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Contract length: Approximately 2 years

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
