Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing the frames of windows, doors, and other structures and installing the glass. You will work with a variety of materials and tools to ensure accurate measurements, proper fitting, and secure installation. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

**Duties**:

- Take precise measurements to specified dimensions
- Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures
- Remove old or broken glass and replace with new glass
- Secure glass in place using Duchies, screws, or other methods
- Use drills, saws and tools such as suction cups to handle glass safely
- Caulk edges of installed glass to ensure a watertight seal
- Measure and install frames for windows, doors, and other structures
- Work with other construction professionals to coordinate projects

**Requirements**:

- Workers at height License
- WHIMIS
- Workers Awareness
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Strong knowledge of glazing techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using handyman tools
- Skilled in caulking and sealing techniques
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Physical stamina to lift heavy glass panels and stand for extended periods of time

**Skills**:

- Caulking techniques
- Plumbing knowledge for water-tight seals
- Glass restoration techniques
- Welding skills for metal frames or brackets
- Drywall installation for proper fitting
- Tile laying for specialized projects
- Blueprint reading for accurate measurements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
