- Proactively monitoring groups of 20-40 dogs 35lbs and under
- Confidently managing play levels within safety guidelines,
- Engaging in stimulating play while maintaining calm control using appropriate dog handling techniques
- Sustaining high cleanliness standards within the den
- Safely receiving and discharging dogs to pet parents
- Minor office duties include conducting assessments, processing payments, familiarizing yourself with the products and services we offer, completing daily paperwork and answering phones
- Actively sharing photos throughout the day to our social media pages to engage with existing and prospective customers

**Requirements**:

- Love of dogs but must also be a people person
- Valid Pet First Aid Certification and confidence in appropriately managing groups of dogs is an asset.
- Previous experience working in a dog day care/boarding facility, dog walking/hiking or grooming service, veterinary office, animal rescue/shelter or other canine service is an asset.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Assist with special projects (office tasks, organizing events, social media etc)
- Experience in operating Gingr (kennel software) and Square (payment terminal) is an advantage.
- Comfortable with flexible work schedules, including coming to work on short notice, changing work schedule when required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-20 per week

**Salary**: $15.65 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Tips

Masks are worn when interacting with clients and when distancing is not possible.
