**Shipper**

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco prides itself on providing a great employee experience where safety is a way of life. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Shipper for the Edmonton manufacturing team. This position will report to the General Foreman.

**What you will do**:

- Prepares shipping packing slips, custom papers, damaged goods, record shortages, record received goods & documentation
- Prepares goods to be shipped
- Directs delivery trucks to shipping doors or designated areas
- Helps load and unload goods safely
- Unpacks, stores good, inspect and count goods received
- Retrieves stored items and trace lost shipments as needed
- Contacts customers or company driver to coordinate pick-up and delivery
- Operates forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment

**Your qualifications**:

- High school diploma
- 3 - 5 years warehouse environment/shipping experience
- Previous forklift training and experience
- Crane & rigging experience is an asset

**You will bring to the position**:

- Knowledge of shipping and warehousing procedures
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry is an asset
- Strong awareness of safety practices
- Adept communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and problem solve
- An understanding of basic tools and equipment use
