Key Responsibilities:
**Strategic Oversight**:

- Directly oversee and manage ICNA Relief Canada’s Resource center and Fundraising initiatives in Surrey, Vancouver and British Columbia region, while promoting ICNA Relief’s Domestic and International Projects, utilizing strong organizational and professional skills to ensure effective implementation and impact.

**Promotional Material Development**:

- Develop compelling promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, leaflets, press releases, and a quarterly e-newsletter, showcasing attention to detail and design.
- Consistently provide updates and relevant information for social media platforms to enhance visibility.

**Strategic Planning and Visionary Leadership**:

- Collaborate in annual planning and budget development for the Resource Centre, contributing to the establishment of clear objectives and financial sustainability.
- Formulate a long-term vision for the growth and sustainability of domestic programs, projects, and youth initiatives, aligning them with overarching organizational goals.

**Client Needs Assessment and Engagement**:

- Assess the needs of clients effectively, tailoring social support services, including settlement, referral services, education, and family services, while upholding ethical values and confidentiality.
- Introduce and plan diverse activities and facilities for the community, such as workshops, seminars, and awareness programs, fostering engagement and participation.

**Networking and Collaboration**:

- Forge connections between ICNA Relief Canada and government departments, as well as community agencies and mosques through impactful onsite presentations.
- Develop collaborative relationships with other social organizations and mosques in consultation with the Domestic Programs Lead.

**Community Education and Publicity**:

- Provide comprehensive knowledge, education, and publicity regarding ICNA Relief Canada’s International and Domestic Programs and initiatives to the community, promoting awareness and understanding.

**Event Coordination and Advocacy**:

- Plan, arrange, coordinate, and organize periodic meetings, seminars, workshops, fundraising event every quarter and trainings in collaboration with ICNA Relief Canada and the ICNA Vancouver.
- Advocate for the needs and concerns of the community, with a specific focus on domestic programs within the broader community.

**Fund Development**:

- Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donors, and Mosques partnerships throughout British Columbia region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors, funding organizations and Islamic Centers/Mosques in designated areas.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events, including donor outreach, fundraising at Mosques, logistics, and promotional activities in Vancouver, Surrey and other surrounding areas.

**Record Keeping and Reporting**:

- Maintain meticulous records, including client data, services provided, meeting minutes, decisions, action lists, and volunteer data.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual progress reports for the Vancouver Resource Centre and the Fundraising events in the area.

**Human Resources and Volunteer Management**:

- Prepare and update related human resources lists, coordinating with team members about programs and activities.
- Establish and maintain volunteers' lists, assigning duties and responsibilities as needed.

**Proposal Development and Administrative Excellence**:

- Prepare and submit project proposals to government and other donor agencies, seeking potential funding opportunities.
- Perform all necessary administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Resource Centre and Fund development initiatives.
- Execute any additional tasks assigned by management in the best interest of ICNA Relief Canada and ICNA Vancouver.

**Financial**:

- Keep records of community donations
- Maintain accurate records of expenses at the Resource Centre

**Working Conditions**:

- General office environment (prolonged sitting/eye strain from computer use, deadlines, indoor air quality/temperatures, lighting, etc.)
- Lifting heavy objects repeatedly
- Driving License with personal vehicle preferable

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in fundraising, event planning, donor relations, or related roles within the sector.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and regulatory requirements.
