**Job Summary**
The Scientific Writer is a part of the award-winning Industry Solutions Team at LifeLearn, a team that has a broad range of skills in design, medical illustration, science writing, video creation, web design, campaign branding and much more. We provide creative solutions to our clients in animal health industries.
**Responsibilities**:
- Effectively lead brainstorming with other members of the Creative team (designers, illustrators) to generate ideas and creative concepts
- Research and compose educational content that is medically and scientifically accurate, relevant to the target audience, and aligned in style and tone with the respective products
- Participate in quality control review for documents written by other writers when requested
- Translate complex scientific information into clear, concise, and accurate language that can be understood by marketing teams, vet techs, and/or the general public (pet owners).
- Establish a connection with the client beyond one's project, to support trusted partnerships and help gain repeat businessBuild expertise in LifeLearn’s educational products to craft appropriate content, and advise on correct usage/access of the product content by the LifeLearn team and clients
- A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning including building skills withing the Industry Solution Creative Department

- Minimum of an undergraduate degree (advanced degrees preferred) and 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical writing-Previous experience/knowledge in Veterinary science/medical writing is a requirement-Highly refined written and oral communication skills-A self-starter with a positive attitude who appreciates a collaborative environment and thrives when delivering client-centric solutions-Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and timelines-Demonstrated time and project management skills are a required-High level of integrity and work ethic
**Your Technical Abilities**Proficient in a Mac or PC platform
- Proficient MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PPT)
- Experience using Adobe Suite is an asset

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
