Dispatch/brokerage

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, join our team as a Steinbach Eastern Dispatcher & Brokerage and play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Book loads for our customers and dispatch appropriately to available drivers
- Plan trips and coordinate with Central Dispatch Team
- Dispatch drivers on planned trips
- Ensure Drivers are provided with all information that is required
- Process customs documents, POD's and/or any other paperwork as required
- Be able to make changes on the fly as needed to cover all trucks and loads
- Monitor and track all pickup and deliveries and notify customers in a timely manner
- Engage with drivers constantly and follow up on planned routes, pickups and deliveries
- Notify and communicate with our customers regarding the status of their load or any delays on a regular basis
- Be able to troubleshoot and multitask to resolve any issues that may occur
- Must be a team player and able to work in a very fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and activities
- Enter customer info for ACI/ACE as required
- Collaborate with third party carriers and assign loads
- Assist find load for Penner’s drivers/ trucks
- Track and update brokered loads
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of Dispatch experience preferred
- The ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and team members
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
