Stettler, Canada IDA pharmacy Full time

Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records
- Prepare and package medications for patients
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Process prescription orders and handle insurance claims
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing

Please note that this position does not require certification as a pharmacy technician, but relevant experience or certification is preferred.

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
