Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.

The Night Auditor is a representative of the hotel to the guest.

This person covers the shift from midnight to 8am.

He / She are responsible for the day to day operations of the Front Desk including closing the operations down for the day. Taking reservations, processing check-in and check-outs, communicating closely with the housekeeping and maintenance department, setting up meeting rooms and handling guest issues professionally and politely. They are also required to promote & sign up guests to the Best Western Rewards Program

To be successful as a Night Auditor you must be reliable, honest, pleasant, be attentive to the details in your work. You must also be able to stay calm under pressure and make decisions based on hotel policies and procedures.

**Duties**:

- Perform nightly audits to verify the accuracy of guest accounts and financial transactions
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departments
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Monitor the hotel's security systems and report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phone calls, making reservations, and providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Strong front desk and customer service skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Prepare arrivals & departures lists, registration cards, keys, authorization codes, schedule room changes keys, housekeeping reports, Daily Function Sheet, Out of Order Report, Express Check-outs. Process 3rd party credit cards for the day’ arrivals
- Tidy the breakfast room preparation area. Ensure all dishes are washed, dishwasher emptied and all supplies are put away.
- Prepare coffee and tea and stock condiments for 5am. Ensure Grab & Go breakfast is prepared for 5am and supplies are stocked throughout the breakfast hours when required.
- Clean / refresh and set up all meeting rooms as needed as described in the meeting room binder.

Ensure the meeting room is set up with Catering Agenda, meeting room keys, internet codes, and heat / air conditioning is on
