Lawrence's Lawn Care is a local family business operating in the Niagara Region for the past 40 years. Our goal is to provide safe, effective and quality turf care and vegetation management services for our valued clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of landscape maintenance workers in performing various tasks
- Plan and prioritize daily work assignments for the team
- Supervise and provide guidance to team members to ensure quality work
- Perform lawncare maintenance duties, such as fertilizing, weed spraying and aeration, grass cutting, brush removal
- train and oversee seasonal student employees

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge and experience in garden and landscape maintenance. 2+ years of experience in lawn and turf care is required
- Leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Excellent supervisory skills to guide and motivate team members
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback
- Ability to drive and back up a truck and trailer and proficient in operating a vehicle
- Have a current drivers license in good standing
- Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain)
- motivated and driven
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely (Chainsaw, Weed Trimmer, Mower)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (routes, lists) - Knowledge of lawncare maintenance techniques and practices

**Hours**

**April
- Mid October**:This is when the majority of our work gets completed. The turf care and vegetation management keep us quite busy throught the spring and summer months. Expect an average of 50-60 hours weekly.

**November-March**:We do a small amount of snow removal as well as vegetation management. Expect and average of 15 hours weekly.

As a Lawn Technician and Lead Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and health of our clients' lawns. You will utilize your skills in lawncare to ensure that our customers' outdoor spaces are visually appealing. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
