We are looking for a highly motivated **Shunter Driver **who will effectively ensure the safe movement of truck trailers within the yard. The **Shunter Driver** is responsible for managing and conducting safety checks and ensuring efficient truck and trailer preparation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate shunt truck to move trailers and containers within the yard.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of shunt truck.
- Ensure safety procedures are always followed.
- Communicate with yard personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers and containers.
- Report any issues or damages to trailers or containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least 1 year of shunting experience
- Valid AZ driver's license endorsements
- Experience in operating trucks and trailers.
- Ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Physical fitness to perform duties such as coupling and uncoupling trailers, climbing in and out of vehicles, and lifting heavy objects.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, other drivers, and loading personnel.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests as required by law.
