**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY**:
Reporting to the Supervisor - Quality Assurance the incumbent shall be accountable for assisting the supervisor in the daily direction and administration of the Quality Assurance Department.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIP**:

- This position reports to the **Supervisor** - **Quality Assurance**
- Directly reporting to this incumbent is: No direct reports

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- Grade 12
- Statistical Process Control
- Geometric Tolerancing
- Blue Print Reading
- Metrology

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Quality Co-Ordinator is under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- He/she will accept responsibility for directing the Quality Assurance crew in the absence of the Supervisor or when specifically instructed to do so.
- He/she could be used to train Quality Assurance persons in the inspection process.
- The Quality Co-Ordinator will carry out, with the inspection crew, the requests of the Supervisor.
- The Quality Co-Ordinator will provide trial support, perform LPAs and verifications on floor and provide floor support
- The Quality Co-Ordinator may be required to be part of the working inspection crew.
- The Quality Co-Ordinator may be used to schedule work crew assignments.
- He/she will, from time to time, be given special work assignments.
- Any employee observed not following safety rules will be disciplined up to and including discharge.
- Use safety procedures in all work and according to Dajcor Health & Safety, Environmental and Housekeeping Policies.
- Perform any other duties that may be specifically or generally assigned.
- Be responsible for safety performance in the assigned areas:
Take action to correct substandard acts or conditions

Observe and monitor employee safety

Use safety processes in all work and according to Dajcor Health & Safety, Environmental and Housekeeping policies

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

- 50% of time spent in the plant environment

**HAZARDS**:

- May be exposed, on a limited basis, to hazardous elements while on the plant floor

**PHYSICAL DEMAND**:

- Some time spent walking or standing.
- Majority of time spent at desk on office computer systems
- Some opportunities for handling parts during sorting operations

**MENTAL STRESS**:

- Constant production pressure
- Employee/union concerns
- Dealing with customer complaints

**SENSORY ATTENTION**:

- High attention to detail required in completing paper work
- Special visual attention to quality defects
- Communication skills in directing and listening to employee concerns

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$76,000.00 per year
