This is a 12-month contract position.

This position is based at Baie-Comeau.

Your role

Radio-Canada, Baie-Comeau, is looking for a Webmaster, Commentator-interviewer, assigned to its morning radio show Bonjour la Côte. As such, you will cover, present and comment on news events during the show, as well as conduct interviews in keeping with corporate standards and policies.

The job also requires that you write news copy and articles. You may be asked to adapt general programming content and maintain the websites for the program in question, in keeping with corporate standards and policies.

This position might be assigned to other programs or projects in the future.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience performing related duties.
- Ability to work well alone or on a team.
- Good knowledge of the region.
- Extensive general knowledge.
- Enterprising and inquisitive approach and high degree of curiosity.
- Originality and creativity in presenting content are a major asset.
- Solid command of communication techniques specific to the medium.
- Excellent knowledge of the web and social media platforms.
- Good knowledge of research and interview techniques.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written).
- Very good knowledge of English, an asset.
- Resourcefulness and initiative.
- Must possess a valid driver's license as well as a driving record that meets the minimum requirements of CBC/Radio-Canada's insurance company.
- French test.
- Interview.
