**DESCRIPTION**:

- Buffalo Point Resort is seeking a motivated, experienced, organized, and dependable individual to fill a full-time position as the Housekeeping Lead.- **Responsibilities**:

- Provide top-notch customer service
- Work in a demanding environment with tight deadlines
- Supervise, schedule and train housekeeping team
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services
- Assist the housekeeping team in performing duties to ensure deadlines are met
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Follow emergency and safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the Resort Centre Manager

Skills Required
- 1 to 2 years housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel/motel/resort environment
- Guest service oriented, previous experience required
- Excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and clear and concise communication skills
- Initiative-taking, results-oriented, and driven to meet objectives
- Capable of remaining calm and work effectively under pressure
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment while maintaining a safe environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to work various shifts including weekends
- Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies and Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures, and Health and Safety Standards for all participants, guests, and staff
- Current WHMIS, First Aid Level 1, and Powered Mobile Equipment Certifications would be considered an asset but are not required
- Current and valid driver’s license
