MACHINIST

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, setup and repair of machinery.
- Inspect and examine equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, mills and grinders to fabricate parts/tools/fixtures required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery.
- Perform other routine preventative maintenance on machinery
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation
- Work with preventative maintenance programs and keep proper maintenance records
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, five days a week on a two-week shift rotation, with optional overtime
- RED SEAL is required
