**About the position**

Reporting to the Quality Manager, The QA Analyst provides support for strategic and tactical quality plans and quality goals across their branches, districts, and cross-functional teams. Drives continuous improvement in quality system performance and ensures compliance to certification schemes, Univar Solutions requirements, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements

**What you’ll do**
- Initiate and log non-conformances and CAPA reports
- Investigate non-conformances using an appropriate root-cause-analysis methodology
- Write and revise policies, procedures, work instructions
- Conduct and participate in management system audits
- Coordinate change control activities
- Attend customer and/or supplier meetings as requested to discuss and provide information about non-conformances
- Present information to internal stakeholders on metrics and findings pertaining to the Management Systems
- Assist in the training of staff on principles pertaining to the Management Systems
- Assist in providing Quality oversight at various sites including locations in Alberta and BC
- Travel will be required to sites throughout the year.
- Other duties, as required

**What we would like from you**
- College diploma or University degree with two (2) years specialized training in a related field (i.e. auditing) or two (2) years of related QA experience is required
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of ISO 9001
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, demonstrates initiative and possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented
