**Reports to**: PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise Founder & CEO

**Job purpose**: to coordinate all activities, including interaction with partners related to the development and execution of PARO’s Prosper initiative, including organizing a team of Project Coordinators and provide services and support to women entrepreneurs as per the project goals and outcomes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The Lead Prosper Coordinator will be responsible for daily supervision of all Prosper Project Coordinators, development, execution and delivery of services, and managing project outcomes. To achieve these outcomes, the Lead Coordinator will be responsible for the following activities:
**General Project Coordination**
- Reporting to PARO management, supervise and monitor the Prosper Project Coordinators
- Monitoring staff to develop partner interaction and foster partner relationships and maintain effective communications strategies in all regions
- Facilitate and foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and ensure proper governance of the project as per the strategy outline in the proposal
- Monitor for program outcomes and ensure steadfast and timely progress
- Develop and implement intake and reporting mechanisms
- Develop and implement evaluation mechanisms for gathering feedback from partners, participants and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with PARO team members in Ontario to support the goals of the position, such as loan and circle coordinators and business counsellors
- Work with partners to strengthen existing and build new inclusive networks of support for women entrepreneurs, that identify and share knowledge and best practices, and/or improve coordinator of support for small businesses and entrepreneurs
- Implement strategic activities as outlined in the Project Outcomes to advance/support procurement and supplier diversity efforts by providing women-owned companies with strategic connections, training, mentoring, counselling and support, to increase understanding about, and access to, private and public sector procurement opportunities;
- Design and develop activities related to capacity building and skills development opportunities; compilation, development and delivery on learning materials, tools and workshops responsive to the objectives of this project
- Deliver enhanced business programs and services that provide cutting-edge skill development/training and counselling, plus access to information and resources
- Ensure quantitative outcomes are on-track to be completed by the end of the project, including collaborating with Prosper Coordinators to monitor progress
- Facilitate partner, participant and stakeholder engagement through designing and holding coordination meetings and events
- Work with program participants to support their business development through one-on-one counselling, fostering access to contact development opportunities and training

**Prosper Circles and Business Advisory Committees**
- Foster interest and build a network of Prosper Peer Lending Circles based on an innovative Peer Circle Model, providing and advance forum and network of peer support and mentorship for groups of growth-minded women entrepreneurs
- In working with multi-provincial partners, build opportunities for participant access to peer support, strategic connections and networking opportunities, and goal-oriented mentoring through coordinating access to a **Prosper Business Advisory Committee**
- Attract, retain and coordinate **Prosper Business Advisory Committee** members

**BIZCamps**
- Through working with multi-regional partners, design, develop and execute multiple series of BIZCamps (business bootcamps) that support cohorts of women over the course of the program; these BIZCamps include themes such as _**the Green Economy, Credit and Investment Readiness**_and_**the Food Processing Journey **_and _**Mooka’am Kwe: She Rises**_ BIZCamp for Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs, and others
- Monitor for partner retention and opportunities for BIZCamps

**Resource Development, General Outreach and Communications**
- Design and develop promotional activities and communication strategies that increase awareness of challenges and issues faced by small business and entrepreneurs
- Work with identified partners to facilitate regular communications and knowledge sharing opportunities, including outreach and awareness campaigns
- Participate in creating resources for inclusion
- Participate in all data management systems that support this project including regular evaluations, reports and statistical management
- Outreach to investors in your region to meet investor groups, Angels, and other business organizations concerned with Impact Investing, largely facilitated by Prosper Circles and Prosper Business Advisory Committees
