As a young and rapidly growing company, we are looking for someone to come in and leverage their skills, knowledge, and previous experience to help us to build our business to fulfill its immense potential.

As the manufacturing controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting records and supporting operations. In addition, you will be instrumental in establishing and implementing process and procedural improvements for the company. You will be asked to deliver insightful financial reporting, analysis, and guidance to facilitate strategic development and management decisions, all while maintaining a strong internal control framework.

What You’ll Do
- Enter all transactions, record all disbursements and receipts.
- Responsible for A/R, A/P.
- Manage and report on Cash Flow.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.
- Responsible for the integrity of the accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets sub-ledgers.
- Preparation of the annual budget.
- Inventory Control and reporting.
- Responsible for the entire Payroll Cycle.
- Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation with accounts payable.
- Prepare and enter month-end journal entries.
- Co-ordinate the monthly closing of all sub-ledgers in the G/L.
- Prepare monthly actual vs. budget departmental reports and schedule meetings to review results.
- Lead the financial closing process at month/quarter/year end.
- Ensure the timely, accurate and consistent preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Develop financial models for existing and new business initiatives.
- Provide management with financial analyses in support of decision making to maximize profitability and manage working capital.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic and annual plans.
- Manage the capital spending request process.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to, and strong internal controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets.
- Support the needs of external and internal audits and various tax reporting requirements.
- Ensure records are maintained and in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with all Government payments and file required documentation.

What You Offer
- CPA designation is required.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in progressively senior accounting roles in a manufacturing operation.
- Sage 100 experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience leading and mentoring accounting staff.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel between operations as needed.
- Positive, proactive, detailed oriented and driven to succeed.
- Effective organizational, planning, implementation, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual who incorporates goal setting and action-planning to achieve success.
- Detail oriented with strong financial reporting, modelling, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop team members towards growth and succession.
- Ability to ensure work is accurate and completed under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
