**The Position**:
The** Project Coordinator **assists with the safe, technical and economical execution of the company's projects in the field. This position will provide project support on an operational level. Supplier management, daily reporting, quality management, administrative controls, and reporting are key responsibilities of this role.

Experience with microtunneling, and direct pipe trenchless installations is an asset with some exposure to pipe jacking, HDD and auger Boring.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist Project Managers to manage project works on site
- Monitor job progress, and provide daily status reporting to clients and senior management
- Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain multiple quotations for subcontracted scopes of works. Supplier and subcontract administration
- Ensure the Project Execution Plan, Inspection Test Plans, drawings and specifications are followed and executed accordingly
- Participate in pre-planning meetings with the client, sub-contractors and internally
- Assist in project scheduling and estimating.
- Work with the Engineering Department to validate crossing designs Participate in daily site meetings, and reporting
- Ensure quality control measures are met on site and appropriate documentation is made
- Assess possible risks for projects, and assist in management and mitigating of risks, in collaboration with the Project Manager, HSE Manager, and VP Operations
- Support operations as required

**Qualifications**

**Education**- A Technologist Diploma (3 year) or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management or related technical field relevant work

**Experience** - Knowledge of civil construction and project management. Knowledge of tunnelling systems, regulatory agency requirements and industry standards, and experience with trenchless pipeline construction is preferred, but not required.

**Key Technical Skills and Knowledge**
- Theoretical and practical construction project knowledge and experienceTechnical and practical experience in executing civil, pipeline and/or trenchless pipeline installation projects is preferred
- Engineering knowledge and ability to read project execution plans
- Knowledge and experience in strategic planning, risk management, and / or change management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
- Proficiency in project management software tools, scheduling and Microsoft Office suite
- Proven communication, and analytical skills. Excellent oral, verbal, and written skills.

**Physical Demand**
- **Office** - While performing the duties of this job, requirements may include prolonged standing, walking and/or sitting. Computer work is also required which will involve visual focus on screens and documents.
- ** Field**:

- While performing the duties of this job, requirements may include use of hands to handle/feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally requirement to climb stairs and/or ladders, balance, stoop or kneel and/or walk on uneven ground. You may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to hear equipment alarms, voices, radio transmissions, and other noises consistent with construction sites. Ability to work in all weather conditions, inside and outside.
