Position Summary:
The Paint Team Lead reports to the Production Supervisor. The Paint Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily shop floor activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring proper health & safety procedures are followed.
- Provide instruction and training to production workers on how to properly load / unload parts from conveyor line.
- Coordinate the production and shipping priorities for their shift.
- Operates machinery, equipment, and tools in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure machine guards are in place and material is handled in a safe manner. Must wear appropriate safety equipment as specified.
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner Powder Coating Pre-treatment Wash System. Check levels of Chemicals, risers, and R.O. Salt levels daily.
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner the following equipment - Infrared Oven, Curing Oven, Dry Off Oven & Conveyor Line System
- Follow work instructions, procedures, clean and organized work area and adhere to Company policies and rules.
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions of which you are aware.
- Maintaining regular attendance, arriving for scheduled shift on-time.
- Maintaining Fastener Room organize and inventory levels lean.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Able to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with team members and customers.
- Able to prioritize work and effectively complete tasks on time.
- Able to work effectively alone or in a team environment.
- Able to stand for an 8 hour shift.
- Able to safely carry and move equipment and/or supplies that weigh up to 50lbs.

**Experience**:

- 2 or more years of experience in a Production role - Previous experience in a Lead role preferred - Previous experience in a professional administrative role preferred

**Education**:

- A High School Diploma or equivalent required

Other Requirements:

- Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. Temperatures will fluctuate in accordance with the weather and the season.
- Occasional heavy lifting - Employees are to use two man lift techniques or other lifting devices for loads that exceed their ability to lift safely 50lbs
- Able to work on your feet - repetitive standing / walking for entire shift
