**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Do you like to tinker with small engines? Do you take pride in keeping things neat, clean and organized? Do you like being able to break up your work day by taking quick trips to run errands? If Yes, than our Current opening for a Yard Worker may be a great fit for you

**Duties of Yard Worker include but are not limited to**:

- Cleaning and maintaining the yard grounds
- Completing general maintenance on smaller equipment
- Filling trailers with product for work sites (i.e. mulch, top soil)
- Assisting with Truck Organization and truck cleaning,
- Running errands related to position (filing fuel cannisters, picking up small equipment from dealers once fixed, etc)
- Tracking shop supplies and shop needs
- Ensuring company trucks maintain adequate fuel levels
- Assisting with any small maintenance tasks at Office or Greenhouse (i.e. hanging boards, unloading greenhouse orders)
- Maintaining a clean and organized facility including trash removal, recycling, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Skills**:

- Ability to perform physical labor (i.e., lifting, bending, standing, walking, carrying)
- Ability to work with your hands and operate machinery (i.e., power tools)
- Able to complete general maintenance on small equipment (i.e. change filter, spark plug)
- Willingness to learn new tasks and perform other duties as assigned by management
- MUST HAVE: Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- **This position will be scheduled later morning into early evening (i.e 11am - 7pm), and 1 (one) Day ON THE WEEKEND (Saturday or Sunday) to prep trucks and shop for upcoming week.**_

This is a seasonal position - scheduling 25 to 40 hours weekly.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-6 months
Part-time hours: 28-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
