**Description**:
This position will assist in several of the usual duties of a clinical medical physicist, under the direction of a qualified medical physicist mentor at the CCI, where the appropriate clinical learner program exists. The employee will assist in quality assurance measurements and quality checks on the radiation treatment planning process, while partaking in a structured CAMPEP residency with clinical rotations, as appropriate. The applicant MUST have graduated from a CAMPEP accredited graduate program or a CAMPEP accredited certificate program.

**Required Qualifications**:
The applicant MUST have graduated from a CAMPEP accredited graduate program or a CAMPEP accredited certificate program. MSc or PhD in Medical Physics, or PhD in physics, with successful completion a CAMPEP accredited certificate program.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Demonstrated knowledge in Radiation Physics, Radiation Dosimetry, Principles of Imaging, Radiation Protection, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Radiation Biology, Radiation Measurement Techniques and Instrumentation, and Clinical Oncologic Imaging and Radiation Oncology. General measurement and error analysis skills; adaptability and ability to work independently and as an effective team member; ability to work effectively with scientific and medical professionals, all members of the multidisciplinary health care team; well organized, efficient and able to meet competing priorities; good presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory as well as excellent general computer skills including MS Office (including Excel, Word, Power Point).

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience radiation safety, computer and network administration, computer coding experience all a plus. Experience with Eclipse, ARIA-RO, TrueBeam accelerators, myQA, MATLAB, and SunCheck software all desirable. Demonstrated research record a plus.
