**JOURNEYMAN POWERLINE TECHNICIAN**

**Completion of Third or Fourth Year Powerline Technician Apprentices Will Be Considered - Victoria Street Location**
- Grade 12 Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
- Must have a valid Class 'AZ' driver's licence. Will consider an applicant with a Class 'DZ' license provided that it is upgraded to Class 'AZ' within six months.
- Must become certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR within twelve months.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must demonstrate an ability to interpret drawings, sketches and diagrams and to work from verbal and written instructions, specifications and standards.
- Must have some experience operating a variety of tools and equipment.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the job including manual labour, work in underground vaults and physically able to climb poles and work at heights.
- Must deal with fellow employees and the public in a courteous and tactful manner.
